The ceremonial bell ringing will take place at the following times:

8:46 a.m. — In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the North Tower

9:03 a.m. — In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the South Tower

9:37 a.m. — In remembrance of those who lost their lives on Flight 77

10:03 a.m. — In remembrance of those who lost their lives on Flight 93

Twenty-five years later, we remember, we mourn, and we honor the lives so tragically lost.

We will never forget.

Are you interested in participating in an exciting high-tech community science effort to track monarch butterflies on their epic migration from Cape May Point to their overwintering sites in Mexico?  The Cape May Point Arts & Science Center is leading the way in the deployment of cutting-edge technology utilizing the world’s smallest wildlife tracking devices to track monarch butterflies. Come down to the Cape May Point Arts & Science for one of our Project Monarch public tagging demonstrations to see the project in action and participate using the Project Monarch app to detect radio tagged monarchs and upload data!

This event is free and open to the general public. Donations are highly encouraged and appreciated.

Pilates with the Pollinators will deliver the lengthening, strengthening, core-building magic of Pilates surrounded by the beauty of the Cape May Point Arts and Science Center Pollinator Garden. Expect controlled, precise, low-impact movement that strengthens your core, improves alignment, and leaves your body feeling longer, lighter, and stronger. This class is perfect for anyone who wants reformer-style results in an efficient, fun, and accessible mat-based format. Please bring your own mat, water, and perhaps some bug spray. A portion of the proceeds will be used to support the garden and the Center.

Cape May Point Arts and Science Center is honored to host the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania’s 2026 Rising Nation River Journey Concert and Treaty Signing events. Occurring every four years, the River Journey beginning in Hancock, NY will culminate in Cape May Point with a quadrennial signing of the Treaty of Renewed Friendship.  Bring the family to experience Native American culture beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Craft & Educational tables, followed by the Ceremonial Treaty Signing from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., with the final two hours offering Storytelling, Drumming, & a variety of Cultural Programming.

 Admission is free and open to the public; donations are gratefully accepted.

The Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania will paddle the Delaware River and hold signings of the Treaty of Renewed Friendship during the sixth quadrennial Rising National River Journey. The event aims to raise awareness and support of Indigenous culture and environmental stewardship of the Delaware River and Watershed.

The tribe will conclude their nine day journey across the Delaware River at the Cape May Point Arts and Science Center. The concert will feature Grammy Winner Bill Miller, Multi-Award Nominee Jim Beer and Native American Drum Group, Stoney’s Boys.

All are welcomed to join and appreciate the music.

The one-day workshop focuses on painting a landscape using soft pastel. Attendees will work on mark making and composition. Plus, how to start the painting with underpainting varieties and finishing touches. Supply list is available upon request or there will be a $15 additional materials fee. Please indicate upon registration if materials are needed. All levels are welcome to attend.
